In my video work “Facing”, images of the city are taken from my paintings. “Wandering images” was the name given to a previous painting section. In the current project, the viewer observes a couple standing face to face. They witness the events happening in the city, even though they do not seem to participate in them. Perhaps this is the problem with people today.

By combining paper collage and stop motion techniques, the visual artists created a story about the moon's journey as an astral body and its transforming into collective and personal references, awakening our memory fragments, to ultimately evolve into more personal images. Χρησιμοποιώντας την τέχνη του κολάζ σε συνδυασμό με την τεχνική stop motion οι εικαστικοί δημιούργησαν μια ιστορία η οποία διαπραγματεύεται το ταξίδι της σελήνης ως ουράνιο σώμα το οποίο μετασχηματίζεται σε συλλογικές αναφορές και μνήμες για να εξελιχθεί σε πιο προσωπικές εικόνες.

It consists of an abstract approach on the way of living while using symbolisms to portray the conformity of human behavior. The viewer dives in a surreal world of the human mind full with images of the subconscious .
